My love for travel stems from an early age. School trips to Spain, Morocco and Bolivia sparked a love of seeing new places and led me to studying languages at university, allowing me to spend time living in Spain and then starting my travel career selling tailor-made holidays to Central and South America, utilising my Spanish to do so. In terms of my favourite places in the world, French Polynesia is up there as one of the best destinations I’ve visited of late. The sheer remoteness of where I was, surrounded by such stunning landscapes, was so inspiring. Beyond The Islands of Tahiti, Chile lies very close to my heart, a country of extremes and, amazing wine! Closer to home, the rich culture of Spain will forever keep me going back. I have also recently fallen in love with the islands of The Maldives. I will simply never get over the colours… the pictures are amazing, but the reality is ten times better! My role at Turquoise is to make the booking process and lead up to people’s holidays as fun as it can be. It’s so, so important to me that I choose the right destinations and hotels for my clients, and it is always so rewarding to get positive feedback when we’ve achieved that goal together. Being part of the Turquoise family means so much to me and working for a family owned and run company means you can really make your mark. I love that we’re constantly reviewing our product and ensuring that we only send clients to places we know will constantly deliver and exceed all expectations.
