We always love hearing about your holidays when you’re back home – it’s a great feeling knowing we’ve crafted an unforgettable adventure for someone. While the feedback is incredibly useful for us, we also realise it can be really handy for you to hear what some of our clients thought about the places they stayed in.
With that in mind, we’d love to share our clients Jacqui and Graham’s thoughts after they returned from a fortnight at Ayada Maldives.

Welcome back Jacqui and Graham! How did you find Ayada Maldives?

We were blown away by every aspect of it. It was a long journey to and from the island but it was 100% worth it. The island felt really natural and not overly polished and we loved how big it was – it meant we could cycle around it.
The beaches were really wonderful and it felt so peaceful, too. At night, the stargazing was phenomenal – we set up our time lapse camera so we could capture the stars shifting. There were so many shooting stars! Ayada felt so remote and as it was so far away from Malé, there was no light pollution so the sky was clear and beautiful.

Amazing! What was the service at the resort like?

All the staff were very warm and natural. The restaurant staff were delightful and those working on the concierge desk were super helpful!

Great. How about the food and drink?

Every single meal was flawless. We loved Ocean Breeze and ate in its overwater bar most lunchtimes because the food was so good. We loved the cheese and wine tasting bar so much we went about four times! The island’s Japanese restaurant, Mizu, was incredible as well. We were thankful we had 14 nights on the island, so we could keep returning to places not miss out on anything we wanted to try. Even when the hotel was full during our second week there, the whole place felt really relaxed and not busy in the slightest.

Did you do any activities while you were there?

We went snorkelling straight from the beach and it was great. We saw rays, sharks, turtles and so many fish! We did a couple of fishing trips and snorkelling excursions that were incredible, too, and the staff leading them were really informative and brilliant fun. While we were at the feeding times for the sharks and rays, we managed to capture some amazing GoPro footage of a shark having a nibble on the GoPro’s selfie stick!

Wow! Thanks for your feedback Jacqui and Graham. It sounds like you had an amazing time!

We did – we’d love to go back!
