We are very excited about the imminent opening of Shangri-La’s newest addition – a full refurbishment of our Mauritian love – Le Touessrok Resort & Spa. Formerly a Sun Resorts hotel (and before that a One & Only) Le Touessrok has  always been close to our hearts at Turquoise, and its stunning East Coast location is one of our favourites on the island. Take a look at Shangri-La’s Le Toussrok :

Due to reopen it’s doors in early November, we are eagerly anticipating the first glimpse of the hotel following its six month renovation. We have been lucky enough to have a sneak preview of the designs, which promise a more contemporary look and feel, with a big focus on using local, organic and natural materials throughout the resort.

The space and design of the property lends itself to families and couples alike – whether in need of total relaxation or an activity based break, the concept has been carefully created to independently cater for all.

Guests of the new Shangri La will also be able to visit Ilot Mangénie Private Island. The island is exclusively linked with the hotel and has a beach bar and butlers to look after anyone who wishes to spend the day there.

Other facilities include;

  • Complimentary Watersports (including water skiing)
  • Floodlit tennis courts
  • Adults only pool
  • Chi, The Spa
  • 18 hole championship golf course (on opposite island Ile aux Cerfs)
  • T- Club for children (4yrs+) and T – Club for teens
