For over ten years now we have held the UK’s only tailor made honeymoon sale. As the start of the 2016 sale is fast approaching (NOW ON!), I thought you might like to know some of the secrets behind the success of this annual event and why you/your engaged friends should take full advantage!
Our research shows that the majority of our honeymooners still opt for summer weddings and therefore our biggest months for departures have historically been July through to September. On average our client’s book their honeymoon around 6 months in advance, so February has always proven the perfect time to hold our sale. Having said that, an increasing trend in honeymoon travel is to wait a month or even a year after the wedding in order to visit dream destinations in their peak seasons. Although I am 100% in support of this thought process, my top tip if you are happy to wait is always to consider the ‘shoulder’ season for your honeymoon. Often this means the month before/after peak season kicks in, when the weather is still beautiful, but resorts a lot quieter and better value for money!

I’ve always thought that ‘sale’ is possibly the wrong word for us to use, as although we have exclusive offers, each honeymoon is still tailor made and bespoke to every couple. Despite it being the busiest time of year for us, there is no risk of standards dropping or our clients being sold something that isn’t 100% perfect. We have a strong reputation as one of the UK’s top honeymoon specialists and we very much intend to remain so.
